How Does Shipping Work?
Makin’ Smiles Coffee roasts to order and usually ships the next day, via USPS or UPS. Shipping costs $7.55 on most orders — a little under Makin’ Smiles Coffee’s actual cost, since coffee is heavy and a small roastery can’t negotiate the free 2-day rates larger sites offer. Orders of $50 or more ship free automatically at checkout.
Local pickup in Palmyra, Virginia is available at no charge — call or text 530-227-0864, or email orders@makinsmilescoffee.com to arrange it. Same-day rush roasting is sometimes available for local pickup in Palmyra. Text 530-227-0864 and start the message with “Rush Makin’ Smiles Coffee,” and same-day service will be arranged whenever possible, though it can’t be guaranteed every day.
How Do I Change or Cancel My Order?
Makin’ Smiles Coffee can often change or cancel an order when contacted right away, since roasting and shipping happen quickly. Text 530-227-0864 with CANCEL or CHANGE at the start of the message, and Makin’ Smiles Coffee will confirm whether the change can still be made. Once roasting has started and a shipping label is created, changes usually can’t be made without extra cost.
What Is Makin’ Smiles Coffee’s Return Policy?
Makin’ Smiles Coffee does not accept returns of roasted coffee. Once a bag is roasted for a specific order, it can’t be resold or sent back out, so a traditional return isn’t possible the way it would be with a product that doesn’t get used up.
That said, if a bag doesn’t work out, Makin’ Smiles Coffee still wants to make it right.
