Decaf Mexican – Mountain Water Process

For evenings, or for anyone who loves the ritual more than the caffeine — decaffeinated with water, never solvents.

Most decaf coffee is stripped of caffeine using chemical solvents, which is part of why it often tastes flat. Ours is different: this Mexican coffee is decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process (MWP), a chemical-free method that uses water and osmosis to pull out caffeine while leaving the coffee’s natural oils and flavor intact. The beans are 100% Organic Fair Trade as well.

In the cup, it’s smooth with nutty notes and none of the flat, muted aftertaste a lot of decaf drinkers have learned to expect. If you love the ritual of coffee but need to skip the caffeine some (or all) of the time, this is the one to reach for.

Like every coffee we sell, it’s roasted in small batches and shipped the next day, whole bean or ground for cold brew, French press, a coffee pot, pour over, Aeropress, or espresso at no extra charge. Pick your size and grind above and we’ll get it roasting.
