Most decaf coffee is stripped of caffeine using chemical solvents, which is part of why it often tastes flat. Ours is different: the Mountain Water Process (MWP) removes 99.9% of this Mexican coffee’s caffeine with water and osmosis instead, leaving the coffee’s natural oils and flavor intact. It’s organic and Fair Trade as well.
In the cup, it’s smooth with nutty notes and without the flat, muted aftertaste a lot of decaf drinkers are used to. If you love the ritual of coffee but need to skip the caffeine some (or all) of the time, this is the one to reach for.
Like every coffee we sell, it’s roasted in small batches and shipped the next business day, whole bean or ground for cold brew, French press, a coffee pot, pour-over, AeroPress, or espresso at no extra charge. Pick your size and grind above and we’ll get it roasting.

How is it decaffeinated?

What does it taste like?
It's smooth and nutty, with hints of almond and caramel and a clean finish, without the flat aftertaste a lot of decaf has.
Is it organic?
Yes, it's organic. We roast it without adding anything. We're a small roaster, so our bags don't carry the USDA Organic seal. Our FAQ explains why.
Is there something in between regular and decaf?
Yes. Half Caff - Medium Roast has roughly half the caffeine of a regular cup.
Can I get it ground?
Yes. It comes whole bean or ground for cold brew, French press, a coffee pot, pour-over, AeroPress, or espresso, at no extra charge. You pick the grind on this page.
