For light roast drinkers who've had plenty of Ethiopian fruit and want something less expected — the clove note is the point.
This single-origin light roast comes from farms in the buffer zone of the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, high in the Sierra Madre of Chiapas, Mexico. The reserve is home to rare cloud forest and some of the richest wildlife in the region, which makes for special growing conditions.
In the cup, it’s a light roast with real character rather than just acidity: bright, with a hint of pear, caramel sweetness and a distinctive clove note that lingers. It’s organic, and we only get a limited quantity each year.
Like all our coffee, it’s roasted in small batches and shipped the next day. Whole bean or ground for cold brew, French press, a coffee pot, pour-over, AeroPress, or espresso, all at no extra charge. Pick your size and grind above, and grab it while this year’s harvest lasts.

What does it taste like?

Is it organic?
Yes, it's organic. It's grown on farms in the buffer zone of the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, in the Sierra Madre of Chiapas, Mexico, and we roast it without adding anything. We're a small roaster, so our bags don't carry the USDA Organic seal. Our FAQ explains why.
Is it available all year?
We only get a limited quantity each year, so it's here while this year's harvest lasts.
Does it come in decaf?
Not this one. Our decaf is Decaf Mexican - Mountain Water Process, with 99.9% of the caffeine removed by water, not chemical solvents. Half Caff - Medium Roast is the in-between option.
Can I get it ground?
Yes. It comes whole bean or ground for cold brew, French press, a coffee pot, pour-over, AeroPress, or espresso, at no extra charge. You pick the grind on this page.
