Our Brazil Cerrado Dark Roast comes from the Cerrado region of Minas Gerais, Brazil, roasted right in the middle of the dark roast range: smooth and bold, with chocolate and nut undertones and a satisfyingly heavy body. It’s a dark roast without the bitter punch in the face you get from most dark roasts — rich and smooth instead of harsh.

Like every coffee we sell, this one is roasted to order and shipped the next day, so what you’re brewing is genuinely fresh, not something that’s been sitting in a warehouse for months. Choose whole bean if you grind at home, or let us grind it for you for your coffee pot or French press, no extra charge either way.

Brew it strong for a classic morning cup, use it as the base for cold brew where its low acidity and chocolatey depth really come through, or pull it as espresso — it’s become a favorite with customers who want a big, generous crema.
